        Having worked with Ashley on a professional basis for many years we recently asked him to draw plans to extend our house. We gave him our brief to create an extra bedroom and living room but what he has achieved is so much more, a layout and a design that makes much sense of what is a quite unusual property. The scheme was passed without hitch with the planners who obviously recognised the quality of its design.

        We desperately needed more space, but were at a loss quite how to make an extension work. Ashley was open to our ideas and came up with a proposal that other architects suggested was unlikely to be possible. He was always accessible, easy to work with and now a few months on we have planning permission and builders on site.
