We would highly recommend this company to anyone who requires high quality timber frame windows or doors which are built to last and look great. They are a pleasure to deal with and provide great service and support. We brought our first windows from them 3 years ago and have gone back to them on numerous occasions for other projects around our home.

Collins and Hall have just installed wooden windows throughout our grade 2 listed barn. From the very first contact up until finishing the job, the communication and honesty, from both Tom and Barry, have been outstanding. Tom and his fitting team were incredibly considerate of our home and protected all of our furniture and carpets. Everything has been finished to a high standard and Tom went the extra mile on a number of things, showing his amazing attention to detail. When the team finished the installation, they cleaned up so well, we would not have known theyd been. We would highly recommend.

Oh my word, I am SO happy with my new windows! Tom and Ashley have done a really professional fitting job and the result is perfect. With this being a Grade II listed building, Planning had to be involved and this caused an unexpected delay (I'm saying nothing!). The long wait was well worth it, and I'm so glad that I chose Collins and Hall to do the job - they are hard workers and really know their stuff. They cleaned up so well before they left, and the only sign that they'd even been is that the old rotting windows have been replaced with pristine new ones. An amazing job! Thanks so much to Tom, Ashley and Barry!

We paid 600 towards a quote April 2021 and advised our windows would be fitted October 2021. We heard nothing, received no updates. We were quiet and patient and basically got pushed down the queue below probably more vocal and demanding customers. We finally got a requote April 2022, as they wouldn't honour the original one. They now expect us to absorb not just 100% of the cost increase in goods, but also the significant hike up in fitting costs. The quote is very expensive compared to other regarded, local joiners, handmaking quality wood windows and we declined to proceed with the second quote. They are refusing to refund our 600, which is grossly unreasonable. They are not out of pocket, but we are. We have paid 600 towards goods and services we haven't received and didn't even secure our place in the queue. Not what we expect from supposed decent local trades people.

We are very pleased with Collins & Hall workmanship and professionalism. We required a window replacement on our Listed Vicarage ensuring no damage to the external stone work or the internal shutters as part of the brief. We found Tom to have excellent communication about the works as well as follow up for the on site dimensions ensuring a good fit for the bay window. Good on site manners from the fitters and clear communication, follow up post completion was prompt. Pricing was as expected for good quality workmanship We have already requested additional works.
