I decided I wanted to go wild camping for the weekend, I plotted a walking route that started and finished at my house. I booked to stay here at Norfolk Coast Path Camping & Glamping as it was the half way point of my little expedition, the campsite was exactly what I was looking for, back to basics, remote and as close to wild camping as I could get. It is situated just outside the lovely village of Holme-next-the-Sea, a few minutes walk from the Norfolk Coast Path, ideal for hikers of the route and that of the Peddars Way. The site has showers, toilets and washing up facilities, it has drinking water but it is stored and they recommend on the website to bring bottled water, this was no problem as I have a water filter. The area is beautiful, very wild and natural, it was just me there and I really felt like I was in the middle of nowhere, with he huge open Norfolk skies for company. I would really recommend this site for all, no frills but you get to have a campfire and bring your dog! All I could ask for!

We stayed at the owners other campsite in Heacham and he told us about this Norfolk Coast Path Camping & Glamping Site so we gave it a go for the night, the campsite is brand new and just opened so very peaceful indeed, we had a lovely evening walking around the village of Holme and up to the Beach. There are a couple of nice places around to eat and the area is very dog friendly. The site itself is huge with lots of space to stretch out, gas powered showers were hot and open tot he outside, felt very au natural! very back to basics almost wild camping site, great for hikers and walkers and motorhomes alike

I am confused. I am very familiar with Holme having ridden there for several years and also dog walked in recent times. Your description would have made the site a possibility for friends to stay at however is not at all clear where it is to be located There are no signs and no facilities, no apparent water nor entrance whatsoever. It appears to be a private field... There is land belonging to Home Farm. There is a private bungalow. There are ponies grazing on where your Postcode states. And adjacent to the A149 there is an agricultural field I drove down over the weekend as we have friends due in the area in the Summer months who are looking for somewhere to stay. For these reasons, I would have no confidence in booking for friends to stay at this time.
