The Old School BBQ Bus

This is a great place that could be awesome. Things I loved: The smoked ribs. The bourbon sauce. The service. The atmosphere. Things I feel could be better: Rather than the wings being generic roasted with a sauce added post roast, it would be nicer to have them roasted in a sauce, it adds a deeper flavour and caramelisation. I love spicy food but feel the hot wings are rediculously hot and a bit gimmiky. I couldn't eat them. I like my food piping hot and the ribs were a bit cool and didn't have enough bourbon sauce on. It would have been nice to have an additional side of sauce for people wanting more.

Today was the 1st time I have been to the barbecue bus the food was incredible I would say the best restaurant food I have ever eaten Soft and juice slow cooked pork ribs and Pull pork The chips were epic flesh and crispy and the bun with the corn in it wow The barbecue beans were special too My mum and her boyfriend had Burger And said they was the best day I've ever had 10/10 for the old school bus

Bad experience with the food. The ribs being one of the signature and most expensive dishes, I would expect them to be at least good and to be prepared with some care. Total disappointment! Poorly cooked and super fat ! In fact I had to scrap almost as much fat as there were meat !
