the service was extremely slow. we ordered drinks, starters and mains at the same time - drinks came after about 30 mins, and we continued to wait for our food to arrive. they then asked us if we wanted dessert, and we flagged we hadnt even received starters yet. they advised it would be coming soon so we said we would take a look at dessert and preorder, however the waitress never returned to take our order. eventually food came out an hour later, but only the main. they completely forgot our starter, which was disappointing. was really looking forward to a lovely meal as the interior is lovely and have heard good things, but this experience fell short of expectations.

Firstly we got seated without any menus for a good 20 minutes until we had to ask for them. Despite it being incredibly quiet the service was terrible. We didnt get acknowledged and waited 30 mins to even be served. When we eventually got served they got my friends drink order wrong, she then didnt get given the correct drink for a while until she had to ask again. By the time she did get given her drink she had already finished her food. And then we were waiting to be seen to get the bill for a while which then resulted in us having to go up and disturb their team meeting as all the staff were huddled around the corner of a table not paying attention to the customers they had. One couple didnt get served for so long that they ended up leaving. We also noticed other tables demanding to be served too as they had also been waiting for a while. I would totally understand if they were busy but it was a quiet Thursday afternoon so there was no excuse for the poor service and no sense of urgency. Not even an apology for making us wait for 2 hours just to eat lunch. For my first experience in this restaurant I can safely say I will not be returning. To note it seemed like the staff were purposely making themselves look busy by stacking bottles of Prosecco on a shelf which could have waited and took 3 members of staff to do.

I've been twice and on bothe occasions overcharged. They refunded me. But is wrong. The quality is OK
