Hilton London Olympia

I would NOT recommend this hotel I am here now and Im really not enjoying my stay It is extremely loud and hard to sleep as I think there is a school or daycare next door The beds are so uncomfortable we had to get mattress toppers but still not overly comfortable waking up with daily back pain our room didnt look clean when we came in And last night I came back to my hotel and had to use the bathroom urgent The person working the desk refused to let me use the hotel lobby bathroom said for guests only even though I am a guest I barley made it to my room This has not been a great stay for me will not be coming back the only redeeming quality is how amazing the breakfast is

When initially booking the reviews were mixed. However coming onto the property proved more accurate on the 2 star level. Property is in desperate need of an upgrade. The furniture and decco was from the 80s, literally. My room had spots of carpet where there was nothing left. Area by door had a brown stain. Bathroom was fine. Showerhead though was limited had to be strategically moved in order to not flood the bathroom. Shower glass guard barely covered anything. I could literally hear the person next door to me showering like I was sitting in the bathroom with them. Room was very warm and had to open window and listen to the constant traffic. In due fairness, traffic is not too much of an issue, I'm used to that. Plus the front desk was kind enough to move me from another room which was located right next to an air conditioning vent outside. That room was not much better either. If the hotel would do the upgrades it would be a great hotel. I'm surprised at the level decay this Hilton was in. Overall the staff were very nice and professional. Location is a bit further out than estimated. However the Olympia Kensington is next door.
