What a wonderful place. The hotel is located about a 10 mins drive from, well anything really, in beautiful countryside. surroundings and looks fabulous. If I'm honest, the name sort of put me off a little when we were booking as it reminded me of a seaside B&B, but fear not, this is a classy place. It's beautifully and very tastefully decorated with quality and authenticity everywhere. The staff were simply amazing!!! So incredibly helpful and friendly. Brilliant! We were arriving later in the evening, just after the restaurant was going to be closed, but they kept it open for us and we enjoyed an excellent quality and good value meal and weren't in any way rushed to finish. Our room was lovely and quaint. Very clean and comfortable and had good quality complimentary toiletries, tea, coffee, hot chocolate, biscuits and even, (and the first time I've ever had this), a carafe of sherry. Fantastic, loved it! The bar and lounge area is very comfortable and welcoming and the bar stocks a good selection of drinks including local bottled beers all at reasonable prices too. (Highly recommended). The staff member who was serving was so nice. Chatty, amusing and very informative. The breakfast was excellent quality and there was a very good menu to choose from. Unfortunately we were only there for 2 nights, attending a wedding nearby, but we both agreed we need to go back for another visit in the summer to explore the hotel, its grounds and facilities, (the outdoor heated pool will be open then) and local area more. All in all, this is a wonderful place to stay and we highly recommend it. Thank you.
