All Saints is an impressively sited church set atop the steep hill between Holbrook village centre & Lower Holbrook. It's a traditional style, rural Suffolk church with red-brick & stonework sections, & a very thick tower. As with the church at nearby Stutton, All Saints has a very substantial porch with belltower, because it's offset from the West end of the nave. Holbrook's church is surrounded by a well kept, flowery churchyard with some very interesting old gravestones, mature Yews, & even some beehives in a secluded corner. The church itself has many curiosities, the inside being especially interesting, with a very elaborate memorial tomb with effigies in one corner. All Saints feels light & spacious inside, due to having only a few stained glass windows. At present there's something of a damp problem from the leaky roof. The church runs an on-site book exchange/sale scheme, & a Parish 'pantry in the porch', style foodbank...

A quiet place to visit family. A shame part of the graveyard is not as well kept as rest , but surroundings made for peaceful experience and contemplation

Not sure how you can rate a church. My beautiful sister died last year and so I visit her grave. The church is peaceful and the volunteers lovely. The grounds cared for.
