Nick and Costas: terrible service and unprofessional advice. After confirming going with them, it took us one month to get actual design calculation. They even didn't check if there is a tree around or not, the original floor plan was wrong and they were reluctant to update it, they said they can design the calculation with a empty floor plan. In the end, they gave us a calculation which could hold over 5 storeys for our two storeys without trees around. All the builders and building control we have consulted said it's unnecessary and waste of money to do the foundation they proposed. We have to hire another company to re-do it. Totally waste 1200 pounds and our time. Reply to their response: its insane of their response. Why we need to provide design document? Its because the floor plan in their drawing is wrong, and in the very beginning we told them dont use that floor plan. If you dont mind, I can post all the emails and messages as pdf here to show how you treat us and not professional at all.

I had a very negative experience with Ritzi Structural Engineers. I feel very ripped off by their service. I engaged them for a structural survey for a Victorian House in London. The scope of work was clear and was discussed on the phone prior to them going on-site. They called me very quickly after I made an online enquiry and I thought that they would be quick and reliable - exactly what I needed as a first time buyer. After the structural survey was complete, they were very hard to get a hold of, their phone number routes you to an external call center, I requested multiple times for a call back to go through the findings of the report and I was left in the dark for a few days before someone finally gave me a call. It turns out that the report only covered half of the scope of what was agreed (e.g. they completely didn't inspect the rear of the house) and they were only on-site for 20 mins. For the price I paid, I expected a bit more care, and accountability. They said they would not update the survey with the remaining scope of work unless we paid them more money - what a scam!! They must have taken me for a fool to think I would pay these guys more money! I would never recommend these structural surveyors - please avoid, especially if you're looking for REAL advice.

I got an appointment promptly and equally so the report. Costa was very efficient and accommodating. Can highly recommend as a structural engineer

Very happy with the services of Ritzi and especially Costas who was incredible with his professional approach to my structural engineering works and all the advice given. The property was inspected on time and the report was done within the set deadline. Cant recommend this company more!
