Im very conflicted this review. Outrageously large servings of food. Completely disproportional and didnt make sense. The mussels (starter which had at least 30-40 mussels in it) and then a hot platter which I swear had at least 25 prawns of different sizes. The prawns were definitely frozen imports and had zero flavour as they were likely boiled and then dumped into the sauce. The oysters were clearly fresh shucked - but not shucked properly and still on the shell, which required removing with a fork. The were also Irish and to the restaurants credit, good quality. Unfortunately the kitchen staff dont know how to handle or shuck an oyster properly. If youre looking for volume and value, this is the place for you. If you want quality and flavour, give it a complete miss. Its good value based on the sheer amount of seafood (regardless of fresh or frozen) they dish up in the servings. But its not cheap because you can eat less, but eat better at other establishments.
