Non-existent sound insulation (you can hear the metro from the 1st floor), damaged paintings, you can see the light of day through the door frame, several appliances were malfunctioning, water that stays cold half the time, and so on... On the other hand, on the price side, we are still at more than 460 per night for an apartment! It's very good to have redone the lobby and changed the decor of the rooms, but what matters is comfort and cleanliness and, there, we are very far from the mark. In short, it was our last stay at the Citadines, it's a shame because the location is great. (Original) C'tait mon 5me sjour dans cet htel, que je connais donc assez bien, et l'tat des chambres s'est vraiment dgrad. Isolation phonique inexistante (on entend le mtro du 1er tage), peintures abimes, on voit le jour travers l'encadrement de porte, plusieurs appareils fonctionnaient mal, eau qui reste froide une fois sur 2, et j'en passe... Par contre, ct tarif, on est quand mme lus de 460 la nuit pour un appartement! C'est trs bien davoir refait le hall d'accueil et chang la dco des chambres, mais ce qui compte c'est le confort et la propret et, l, on est trs loin du compte. Bref, c'tait notre dernier sjour aux Citadines, c'est dommage car l'emplacement est chouette.

Centrally located, we walked eveywhere or took the underground at the corner (Holborn). Accomodations were very good. No view from the window however, just a brick wall. But we did not stay in the room enough to care. Bed in the room wad very comfortable and in the living room, 2 single beds in a pull out couch were acceptable. Staff at reception were very nice.
