For anyone who does not fancy paying to be patronised, this practice may not be for you. The hygienist does the work, but the whole experience is too patronising. Another persons comment about her having a chip on her shoulder is an accurate depiction. I came out super stressful as if Ive just seen the headmistress in her office. TL;DR (1) I submitted my pre-appointment form a few days ago, and was only 2 mins late for my appointment, but she started rushing, claiming because I was late and hadt filled up the form. I said I did and I could later see my form on her screen, and she never apologised for not first checking on her part. From there, I could sense that she was simply trying to rush through the session. (2) After the scaling, her exact words were Im not happy with the condition of your gum. There is definitely a more professional way to put this, instead of using such a patronising tone? (3) During scaling she commented that she noticed something on my teeth but she couldnt tell what is that since its just her first time seeing me. She asked if I used any whitening products and said its bad to use one. Ive never used one, but couldnt answer to her question as there were tools in my mouth. However, later at the advising session, there is no follow up nor tailored advice on that. Its rather perplexing because if you couldnt care to ask or follow up, no matter how many times you have seen the patient, how can you ever figure out what that is or how to properly advise the patient? It just seems to me that shes simply not interested at tailoring her advice. (4) When she was advising on how to clean my teeth correctly, she also used a less commonly seen toothbrush, to which I commented saying never seen that in places like Boots or Superdrug. Instead of telling me where to get it, she simply replied in a patronising tone saying weve been using this for the past 50 years; Im not sure why you have never seen this.

Top-class, professional practice in the heart of London at very reasonable prices. I have been going for about 30 years and always received courteous and expert service and knowledgable advice from the dentists and hygienists. In that time I have had a few fillings and an extraction: all were done proficiently, painlessly and with great care. A friend has had excellent emergency care there too.
