    Booked a meal at one of their establishments (Beefeater) and have been trying to get through to the restaurant, 2 hours on the phone over a week period to phone my Christms menu through as I'm not local, 120 miles away. As the restaurant in question won't answer phone, I contacted head office and Darren on restaurant relations said he can't help me with that, well Darren maybe they should sack you and find someone who can be bothered to help. This is how a company fails during hard times, too many bad reviews because you can't be bothered, let's hope you're company survives and you continue to have a job

    There is no avenue for me to leave a review on premier inn hotels directly so I have no choice but to leave it with Whitbread Plc. They have done a phenomenal job to convince me to never ever return. It will be tough given the monopoly on budget accommodation but their unprofessional and shambolic dealing with my case Ref: WHB-1447796-L5S3 speaks volumes about how much they care for their customers. Despite both the hotel / property manager and the reservations and guest relation team all confirming that I was mis-advised, I was given 0 recourse. I should have as confirmed by all the parties above been allowed to modify and change my reservation date when I called twice previously to enquire (this was black and white in writing) but because a member of the team told me I couldnt (misinformation), I had to travel from London to Wolverhampton just to avail my booking. This is not a question of goodwill or going the extra mile- this is a case whereby I was severely inconvenienced even having to incur additional costs just to fulfil a booking that I should have been allowed to cancel but told I couldnt. Even when I communicated with the guest relation team, theyve admitted that I should have been able to to cancel it but beyond an insincere and vague apology they summed it up with This is our final resolution in this matter and we can advise that we will not be corresponding further and consider this case closed. We do hope that you can appreciate the reasons for this decision and we can look forward to welcoming you back in the future. This is rude dismissive and unprofessional given that there is a breach of contract and false misrepresentation by one of your staff - to not grant the customer and recourse is not right. And after this you think I would want to come back to the property? Abysmal.
