I'm sorry to have seen that this well-kept store is closing down. I hope that the staff will be redeployed, not made redundant. WHSmith has become unpleasantly ruthless to customers, and possibly to their staff. Sad how a well-trusted brand for over one hundred years can be smashed into the ground by the greed of the CEOs.

Useful stuff to buy in store. Staff are not very friendly. I tend to visit this store because I attend university a few minutes from WHSmith. All the times I've been in the store, staff have never asked me if I need help and they look quite miserable. They watch you walk around the store, which is quite uncomfortable. Maybe some retraining in customer service skills is required? Just saying
