Very much like to write and thank Sean Randall. If you have an issue with shared ownership and stair casing to sell your property - he is your man! Specifically he was able to help with regards to not needing to pay duty on the additional percentage purchased to allow a 100% sale, which in our case, also meant moving from lease to a freehold for the buyer. Sean knowledge in this area is second to none. He also invested time in talking to and convincing our solicitor of the law, given this is such a unique and difficult area to understand. highly recommend Blick Rothenberg . They were incredibly knowledgeable and professional, and made the process so easy for me. The elevator door opens and you're smothered by the smell of mildew, dust and old books. You step out of the elevator and an 87 year old woman named Janice puts her cigarette down and greets with a deep, raspy voice. "I'm here to get help with my taxes" you say meekly. "Sure hun, just fill out this paperwork" Janice replies as she heaves a six inch think binder on to the top of the counter. "Just fill out this paperwork and we'll be happy to help you" she says... This is the beginning of your journey working with Blick Rothenberg. They're old school, slow to respond, require you to do way too much work given the price, are vague with their recommendations and leave your filled with anxiety every time you get off the phone with them. I used them because my company paid for it. I will never use them again.

I was advised to phone Sean regarding a SDLT concern that I had following my divorce. Sean very kindly and clearly clarified my position and sent me a follow up e mail that evening so that I had the necessary details in writing. He could not have been more professional and understanding.

An extremely positive experience with Sean Randall at Blick Rothenberg. I am an American going through a divorce which involves transactions around a property in London. Sean went out of his way to be helpful and was very prompt and exact in his assistance. Could not recommend more highly!
