        We went here many years ago before it seemed to close for a while. We ended up leaving without buying anything then, due to the rudeness of the butcher. I popped in this morning to give it another go. Again the butcher's utter rudeness has put me off ever stepping into this establishment in the future. I just enquired whether I could order meat for Christmas. The assistant said I could and then tried to start the order. The butcher seemed quite terse towards her as she tried to get the order book open. I then asked if I could order a nice piece of topside. The assistant spoke to the butcher who, over his shoulder and to no one in particular snarled "We are not taking orders for anything but turkey or goose". No explanation was given. I was of course going to do a much larger purchase but didn't feel the urge after this. I shall neither be handing over my hard earned to this gentleman nor shall I recommend him to anyone else.I'm ever so glad that in the present climate business is going so well that they can turn away custom.
