Funthyme Ltd

We used Funthyme for our wedding at Trinity Buoy Wharf. When we were initially planning the day, we said we wanted people to be raving about how good the food was and Matt and the team duly delivered this. Everyone we have spoken to have marvelled over how deicious everything was. Matt was great to work with, helping us to scope out exactly what we wanted from our ideas and turning it into beautiful food, drink and setting the places and tables stylishly. We were thrilled with the way our wedding played out and the Funthyme team was key in making that happen. From the get-go, Matt was a delight to work with and really listened to our food preferences in order to come up with a draft menu for both canapes and the sit-down dinner. Our tasting experience was excellent and assured us that we had made the right decision. The result on our wedding day was food that was universally praised by our guests. It was not only very tasty but also looked great and reflected our respective backgrounds (Matt even went out of his comfort zone to make an excellent wedding cake!). Wedding food can be hit and miss, but we were genuinely impressed with ours, which was very important to us. Beyond the food, we cannot emphasise enough how accommodating the entire Funthyme team was. Kimberley was instrumental in co-ordinating every practicality, big and small, and made us feel that we could rely on her during what is obviously a stressful time. And on the day, the entire team was attentive and friendly in a way that resembled a well-run restaurant, something that was extra impressive given that our venue (Hackney Town Hall) was dry-hire without kitchen equipment. The food and service were just what we had wished for we strongly endorse!

We recently used Funthyme for our wedding catering, both a sit down meal and for canapes and evening snacks. Everyone I've spoken to since the wedding has commented on how lovely all the food was. Matthew and Kimberley were so supportive and helpful in the build up to the event as well as the on the day itself. We cannot thank them enough and recommend them highly - if we ever hold another event we will be using them again!

Funthyme were amazing catering at our wedding. They went above and beyond to ensure the day went smoothly and we could relax. The food was phenomenal, guests were all raving about it. Highly recommend!
