Not a pleasant experience with Alan - he was sarcastic and hard of hearing. How can you teach your students when you can't hear your student's questions? Edit: good on you Sarah if you think he was unsarcastic but this was *my* experience. Maybe it was really time for him to retire then or earlier than that! I cancelled all my lessons with Alan after telling me I drove like my eyes were closed and he wondered why I cancelled everything? I am sure you're different than him but this was my review of this school then. I am sure you'll be fine!

Sarah at Alpine is an amazing driving instructor. Pandemic disruption meant I had had four different instructors and a previous failed test before I started learning with Sarah. I had become anxious about driving but Sarah did a brilliant job of building my confidence and explaining skills I had never fully understood before. I felt in safe hands throughout. I passed first time with Sarah. The lessons were carefully structured to work on my weaknesses over time and cover a wide range of scenarios. Sarah was always professional and helped me schedule my lessons around full-time work, for which I was very grateful. I cannot recommend her highly enough.

Sarah is the best! Passed first time after having lessons from her! She provided all the instruction and resources I needed. Happily answered all questions and concerns I had for my test and gave lots of useful tips and tricks to make sure I was confident and competent for my test day. Above all, Sarah was super kind and encouraging as I had some intense nerves going into everything. If youre in the Hoddesdon area and looking at all the options, definitely pick Alpine Driving School. Thanks again Sarah!
