A really lovely cottage, perfectly equipped and located for those attending a wedding at Hockwold Hall. Cottage itself deserves 5 stars. Sadly the owner of the Hall was less than helpful, notifying us less than 48 hours before we were due to arrive that he had double booked our first nights stay and without any real apologies, compensation or offer of alternatives, left us to try find somewhere else last minute. Luckily we found somewhere but it was at extra cost and with a toddler, meant lots of packing and moving which is exactly why we had booked two nights at St Peters! His excuse was 'not my cottage, not my problem' but he had been happy to take our money months before hand!
