Woolly Chic

I was looking for a 'knit your own teddy bear' kit to give as a gift and came across Woolly Chic. This bear even has a purple waistcoat - how could I resist?! Before purchasing, I emailed over a question and Helen got back to me that same evening (it was the weekend, too). As I was sending the gift direct, Helen kindly offered to wrap it in tissue paper and write a handwritten note (with no additional cost). It's those little touches that make all the difference as a consumer - it was easy and enjoyable. Helen went above and beyond. I can't wait to see the finished bear! Highly recommend Woolly Chic.

As an enthusiastic beginner I found Wooly Chic via a google search. Helen could not be more personable or supportive. I know I'll be coming back to her again. Received my beautiful purchases very quickly and they are gorgeous and were well packaged. Thanks again Helen ; )

A few years ago I bought Helen's Sheep Tea Cosy kit. I was an absolute beginner at crochet, but the kit was perfect - all that I needed to get going, with really clear instructions. Since then, I have used quite a few of Helen's lovely yarns. It's great to know their back story and where they come from. In fact, I was inspired to design a knitting pattern using her yarn, and another one is in the pipeline. Helen is also a great teacher and has a thriving weekly crochet meet up in Hitchin. She is generous with her knowledge and is great at teaching crochet, even to me!
