Fantastic service this Sunday when I visited. I felt so well looked after and all of the details and results were fed back so clearly. So interesting to see the scan pictures too. I felt really valued as a customer and not rushed in any way. I have been a customer at this store for years and I wouldnt dream of going anywhere else. Huge thank you

Dreadful experience. First prescription was incorrect and I had to return the glasses, no apology. Very busy store. Very limited customer care. The staff just want to get you out as quickly as possible. My replacement glasses are not as good as my old glasses so I dont use them. What a waste of time and money! Update - I then entered more details on the web form as instructed. Almost a week later and no-one from Specsavers had bothered to respond.

I bought two pairs of Specsavers own range glasses in September 2022, one for driving and one for reading. To be honest the quality has not been great. The arm became detached from my reading glasses less than three months later whilst on a trip to France in December. I had to use a local optician who used superglue to reconnect the arm. On my return I visited the Hitchin store to highlight the issue, only to be told that I should have taken the glasses to a Specsavers - in Paris? The first person I spoke to agreed that the glasses should not have broken, and advised that they could not fix them, but were under no obligation to replace them. I asked to talk to a store manager, who told me I was getting angry and he didn't have to help me. I am customer service trained, I don't get angry, but I am persistent. Eventually he did relent and said that they would get the lenses put into new frames, all good and these glasses have been fine since. My driving glasses however have developed a fault whereby the arm is loose and cannot be tightened. I am going back this weekend but do not hold out much hope now they are 6 months old.
