A tardis of a shop filled to the brim with amazing items. You can spend hours here. My girlfriend came away with a gorgeous 1950s vase. Great place for a mooch.

Fleetville Emporium is a great shop that has so many amazing items. The shop is big and has two floors, so there is plenty to look at. They sell vintage, retro, antique, and quirky things, so everyone can find something they like. The staff are friendly and always happy to help. They know a lot about what they are selling. The atmosphere in the shop is really nice. They always have 60s and 70s music playing, which is fun. It's also great that they get new items in every day, so there is always something new to see. They have a lot of pre-loved items, which means that they are not new, but still in good condition. This is better for the environment and also supports small businesses. I did my Christmas shopping at Fleetville Emporium last year, and I often go back for birthday presents. I love that I can find unusual and quirky items there that I can't find anywhere else. I can easily spend a couple of hours there, searching for the perfect thing to buy. If you are planning to travel to Hitchin, it's a good idea to come on a Friday, as there is an Antiques & Collectables market. On Sundays, there are car boot stalls out, which is fun. I highly recommend visiting Fleetville Emporium. It's an amazing place with an incredible range of items and furniture.
