Small car park for about half a dozen cars but good access to the oughtonhead nature reserve and the surrounding countryside. If you are prepared for a stroll you can reach the footpath beside the Hitchin Lavender Farm, which adds a certain novelty to the walk. The alleged "oughtonhead waterfall" is no longer accessible unfortunately.

Very busy small car park at the end of a small road fits about 8 cars max and gets full from around 9.30am. Easy access to Oughtonhead nature reserve and the car park borders the football pitches and childrens playground. Its free and popular with the walkers of hounds in the morning.
