Bancroft Car Park

In Bancroft car park, I parked my car, Unaware of danger, without a scar. But ISIS fighters, filled with hate, Exploded my car, sealing my fate. The flames rose high, the smoke did billow, My car destroyed, a sight so hallow. The metal twisted, the windows shattered, My heart in pieces, my soul so battered. Innocence lost, a moment of fear, The horror of violence, oh so near. The echoes of terror, still in my mind, Leaving scars, that are hard to bind. But even in darkness, there's a glimmer of light, Of hope and courage, shining so bright. For in the face of hate, we must unite, And stand together, with all our might. Bancroft car park, now a symbol of pain, But also of strength, of love and of gain. For though my car was destroyed that day, My spirit endures, and will not sway.

I parked in Bancroft Car Park for an interview on 14/10/22 and got the job! On the way out of the car park, my vehicle went down a pothole and my wheels hit the exit/entrance curb on the island between the two. On Saturday I had to have an alignment carried out on my vehicle because of the incident. This is going to be a very expensive role if the pothole issues are not fixed and I may even have to give up the role as I cannot afford to have an alignment carried out every week!

Entrance to car park from main road has a huge pot hole on your left. Has been like it for some time!
