Before finding Ricky at Gents & Juniors, our son had been frightened of having his hair cut. Within minutes of arriving at Gents & Juniors, Ricky had put him at ease - and soon after it was clear to see that our son was actually having loads of fun! He enjoyed the car chair and was beaming from ear to ear as Ricky encouraged him to play in it whilst he skillfully and swiftly cut his hair at the same time. Complete waste of time. Failed to keep kids appointments twice in 24 hours. Weve used gents and juniors for our kids before and been happy, but its become so unreliable we can never use them again. My 3 year old had an appointment on Friday but there was no-one there to cut his hair. Called Ricky who said he would find out what had happened and call back in 5. Waited 10 minutes in the cold with my baby and toddler but he didnt call back for 20 mins, to say someone would be there in another 15 minutes, ie 45 minutes after our appointment. By that time we had gone, but I checked with him that there was no problem with the appointment booked for my 6yr old at 9am on Saturday. No problem, Ricky said; he would be there himself. Took 6yr old to the appointment at 9am the next day and once more, no one was there to do a childs cut. This time Ricky didnt even answer the phone. He finally called back at 1.30pm, during which he didnt apologise, or acknowledge that he had let us down again despite assuring me he would be there less that 24 hours previously. Once is perhaps a mistake. Twice is just ridiculous.

My 2 year old had his first haircut and the gent that did it was great! He did a wonderful job of cutting my son's curly hair to a manageable style whilst retaining some curls. He was great with him and kept asking us if we were ok with what he was recommending before committing to the cut. We will be back as soon as his hair goes wild again!
