Phoned in multiple times to see a doctor, was told to ring back at either 8am or 2pm, was 9th in que at 2pm and when I got through they had no appointents left, also sent us to pharmacy regarding my sons illness and was given something he didnt need and we ended up in hospital with him. Will be changing doctor surgerys very soon

Though it's hard to get an appointment (to be fair same in most surgeries nowadays) cannot fault the majority of the Dr's who truly have a want to help attitude. Though reviewed awhile back wanted to give thanks to the receptionist, who helped my daughter who had unknowingly run out of her tablets, and rushed through her prescription straight to the chemist after getting it signed. Excellent service thank you.

Avoid!! Receptionists are the rudest I have ever come across. Tell you different information depending on who you speak too. Wouldnt even put 1 star but had too.

Surprised by the negative ratings. Receptionist staff were really helpful as I was registering as a new patient and trying to quickly sort out my repeat prescriptions. Doctor Oh was also really nice during our appointment. No complaints! Update: had to go in yesterday for a dressing change after slicing my finger open and the nurse that looked after me was amazing. So kind and informative. Didn't catch her name but she really made the whole process so easy.

In Portmill surgery, a place unknown, Where my daughter went, and never came home, The doctors and nurses, so well-intentioned, But something went wrong, and she was never mended. I remember the waiting room, so sterile and cold, The magazines read, the stories untold, The hours ticked by, with no word from within, Until a nurse appeared, with a look so grim. "She's had complications," the nurse did say, "She's in critical condition, and fighting each day." My heart sank, my stomach turned, What had happened, what had I learned? The days went by, in a blur of tears, As my daughter lay there, fighting her fears, The machines beeped, the monitors whirred, As we prayed for her to be cured. But one fateful night, the worst did occur, As we heard a loud bang, and a sudden whirr, We rushed to her room, but it was too late, Our little girl, gone in a flash of fate. Portmill surgery, a place we'll never forget, A place of pain, and of endless regret, But we'll take our trauma, and turn it to good, By sharing our story, and helping as we should.
