Refused to honour advertised prices. Requested a bottle of Tanqueray 10 (70CL) priced at 20.00. On scanning the item I was told the price had changed to 41.25 and that "deal had finished". I inspected the display ticket, 20.00 was the correct price for item referrenced. It was accepted I was correct but they refused to honour it anyway. (response to owners reply) The fact the item was on promotion was not "clearly indicated", neither was there an expiry date. The sales assistant removed the label after scanning the item. I asked to take a photo but the asistant threw the label away and was unwilling to retrieve it. With ever increasing prices?! Over 100% addition, pull the other leg.

Rude, didnt even attempt to help me with my parcel after walking with it across town and wouldnt let me speak to his manager after saying the manager is the only person who csn authorise it and he happened to be in the next room doing orders but couldnt even give me one second of his time to help me!

Do not use Blakes Corner for any returns or pick up of parcels. It will be my last time. Firstly, for collections, on the few times Ive used them Ive been told to route through piles of parcels and havent had to show proof of ID. Secondly after my experience of returning parcels at approx 17:15 today (Wed 4th Jan( I will never use their service again, and if they were not privately owned I would be advising the manager to review the CCTV footage. I entered the shop and the manager told me that my parcels were too big. I had 2 medium size boxes. I could see that if they moved around their existing parcels there was plenty of room for at least 5 more medium size boxes. When I stated this the manager told his sales assistant to just do it, it wasnt worth the hassle and the manager then left. The sales assistant turned his back and started swearing as he rearranged the parcels, when he turned back around he continued to be rude, argumentative and confrontational, still unwilling to accept the parcels. At this point I asked why they offered this service if they were so unwilling to provide acceptable customer service for it, nowhere online states theres any restrictions to height or weight and therefore the service I had received was unacceptable. With a few customers now entering the store he seemed to realise his lack of professionalism and half heartedly said sorry. Please avoid if you can.

Disgraceful. Taking advantage of kids selling prime for 12 quid. Don't bother replying saying you paid a premium, you weren't forced to buy them. Absolute community bloodsucking is all it is.
