***STAY AWAY*** KEPT MY 80 DEPOSIT. DEMANDED EXTRA 150 PAYMENT OVER QUOTED AMOUNT. DIDN'T DO THE JOB. Attended clean of a vacant let property. Received a very rude phone call an hour later from them (the first and only call) to say they were having issues finding the key and 3 members of staff have been waiting an hour! Gave same instructions to find the key and they found it straight away. Why and how it took them 3 hours to find this key and what they were doing is a mystery, also why it took an hour to call me. On access I then received another call demanding 150 extra as they felt the property would take longer than they thought, even through they had a full check out report with photos from a 3rd party company when quoting for the job. When I refused they said they would refund the deposit and leave the job. Fine. But as yet have never refunded the 80 deposit, even over multiple requests. They then sent me photos to try and justify the 'extra' work which was made up of pictures of a rusty radiator (which I was replacing and you cannot clean rust!) As well as pictures of tea leaves in a draw. Certainly not what I would think would take extra time of a competent cleaning company. They were given the checkout report with cleaning points highlighted and we mentioned the freezer needed defrosting which was within the report and mentioned on my 1st call to them. The latest email I have had from them was an invoice for time attending site in an attempt to get me to drop this issue. There customer service is appalling and I would seriously think twice if you are thinking of hiring this company as this could happen to you. Its a real shame I have had to leave this review as I'm not fond of leaving negative reviews at all but as they have had time and several opportunities to correct this but have done nothing about it then it had to be done.

I was moving out of a rented flat and had to find someone who was local, prompt, professional and was good with communication as the remaining weeks of my final month at the property were running out and a deposit was at stake. Joel Cleaning Services were great! The service, price and date was negotiated and arranged and the team arrived on site. The team were lovely, enthusiastic and of course importantly good workers. To begin with, we had a walk around the flat reviewing what needed to be done and which areas needed more/less focus. They arrived at 9am and just after lunch time the place was already sparkling. After the flat was cleaned they requested me to walk around and inspect the flat for review. It looked great! I also got my full deposit back later that month! Thanks again to Joel Cleaning Services!
