The Tannery

I would have loved to have a nice photo with everything all together, but as the dishes came so spaced out they would have been cold by the time the others came (it took over an hour to get deep fried pickles). I was going to rate this restaurant one star, as this is the second time I've been here and both times the food and the service have been not good. However, this time I mentioned my issues to the staff and they gave me a discount off of my bill and our drinks for free to make up for our bad experience. Because of that, I will not say anything else negative about the food and I will try to come here for a third time to really give it another go. As a positive, the staff do listen to issues and unfortunately it seemed understaffed which isn't anyone's fault. They also tried the best they could to try and prevent loud and singing customers at the bar, of which they also couldn't control. So I've rated it three stars, in hopes that next time will be better.

I was dubious about visiting the Tannery. Tapas is not my thing, so glad I went. Food was delicious. Service was excellent. I really enjoyed sharing my food. Been twice more since then,
