On the last few occasions their website has been terrible. The spiral section was just coded data for ages so couldnt order them and now I have constant issues with payment. It always says the 3d authentication thing has declined my card even though the bank have approved the transaction.

I've been restoring my sash windows and have made 5 orders from Mighton Products Ltd so far and just about to place a sixth. Every order has been fulfilled the next day exactly as indicated. Products I have ordered seem great and include make weights, cord, pulleys, 2-pack filler, standard weather seal and accompanying router bit, sash lifts, fitch locks, staff bead, brushed staff bead and some very impressive composite parting beads with rubberised plasic (or plasticised rubber) blades which provide weather proofing and eleviate the rattle. I've also ordered several of the paints and called to quell my scepticism but found out they have actuallt partnered with a dutch manufacturer. I've used many, many paints from all the usual suspects and these are my favourite. Did I mention cost? Because mighton products are really competitive by comparison with any supplier compraible by my reckoning. I've read a few negative reviews here which in no way relects my experience. Products are fine quality and shipping anc costs are clearly laid out prior to purchase and predictable anyway at a flat rate of about 8, which is high for small orders but low for large orders. So ge your sashes out and glazed then order once whilst the putty is drying. To wrap up, it's pretty opbvious to me that my sash windows are now the best they have ever been because the Victorians didn't have the products we can get now which stop the rattles, weather proof and ball-race, to name but a few advances. All this availible from a single supplier at sensible prices. There really is nothing much to creak and groan about here about from your pre-refurbished wndows. A single creak is that the c=router cutter didn't cut the slot auite wide enough to avoid hammering the weather strip, but in my case 5 layers of masking tape to run the router on sorted that out; it's really not a deal breaker. Highly recommended supplier.

I am a property developer of period homes. I have used Mighton for several years always looked forward to the sweets !! Last time ordered the wrong items and they sat in the stores for a couple of weeks longer than the authorised return time - called to ask if ok to return and told boss needed to be asked. No return call .. chased no return call. Decided to send back anyway as no good to me, suggesting that if no refund the company made a contribution to charity..nothing. E mailed weeks later and promised a response nothing. Used to like this company but buying elsewhere now as customer service pants!!
