Woodford Halse Post Office

Took a parcel for my daughter full of Christmas home reminders for overseas delivery to Australia, according to tracking and conversation with Royal Mail, the parcel does not appear to have left this post office, they have said it is near on impossible that it would not have been scanned at some point between there and Heathrow, this is more than four weeks now. Royal Mail have advised to ask this post office to check to see if the parcel is still with them. I have tried repeatedly in the last three weeks to call and NO-ONE answers, or they pick up and hang up. Short of now driving 4O minutes to the post office, what can a person do??? Really poor!

Combined with Popson's Chemist, this branch Post Office is very conveniently located and provides a useful, local service. I have always found everyone to be friendly and welcoming. Of course, being a small branch P. O. not all services are available but it certainly caters for most day-to-day postal needs. Parking is usually quite easy outside or nearby upon the street where there are no restrictions.

Every single time my partner (male, 30) comes into the post office/chemist, he is always treated with utmost hostility and rudeness. This has even been happening before the pandemic. He follows the current covid rules, and is the politest man you'll meet, however, his manners and understanding are met with the staff being rude, disrespectful, and hostile. My partner has not done anything wrong to get such a reaction. For this reason, we will no longer be using this post office/chemist, until this has been thoroughly dealt with.
