Staying at Somerville Barn has been lovely. The host, Liz, has been so sweet and welcoming. Its a beautiful, contained space, ideal for relaxing and enjoying the peaceful countryside. There are plenty of walks, a sweet and quaint little cafe in the village for a generous cream tea and cosy pub three door down to enjoy (especially in the colder months).

Stayed at the cozy Somerville Barn for two nights as we were in the area for a wedding. Bedroom had two large wardrobes with hangers. There was a hairdryer, iron and ironing board provided which was handy. The bed was comfortable and the room was warm. The bathroom was very nice. The sink was more than big enough for two people to use it at once. The heated towel rail was nice as we were staying in winter. The shower had a shampoo, conditioner and shower gel dispenser. There were complimentary shower caps which the other half appreciated. Upstairs was a large living/ dining room with two sofas, dining table, coffee machine, microwave, fridge and TV. Breakfast had been laid out for us with all the usual staples including some freshly squeezed orange juice. We were provided with use of the summer house and garden as well which was very nice although I would imagine it would be even nicer in warmer weather. Lots of guides to local eateries, walk, taxis etc were provided, with good recommendations from the host. I would highly recommend a visit to the local tea room. The cream tea was scrumptious and award winning. The local pub is also very good and popular. I would recommend booking a table if you want to eat. All in all I would highly recommend the Somerville Barn as a great place to stay and explore the local area.
