Mr Lamb, You were not servicing, you were repairing doors that would not shut properly, trim that had fallen off and fading that has occurred because of the poor quality of your workmanship and product. It was initially correcting the install, but it became apparent, the damage and misuse you talk about was caused, because YOU MADE THE JOB TOO SMALL. This subsequently caused the door opening FOUR INCHES too small. The culls are painted brown frames, (did you mention that in your reply?), NOT foil covered. I noticed you did not mention the leaking frame, that has penetrated our internal wall, (Try blaming that on misuse and damage!!! As for attending our property, after several promises to attend and you didnt, I subsequently found that our problem and Misuse and Damage was down to an incredibly bad install and product made too small. It was at this point that official correspondence was required and no amount of Free service, (Where I come from its called correcting an inadequate install and even if it was fine, its called guaranteed work). As for a rival company, an independent report was made, BUT PLEASE BE MY GUEST, YOU MAY SEND AN INDEPENDENT SURVEYOR AND WE SHALL PUT HIS REPORT ON THE FEEDBACK. The install can only be rectified by taking it completely out and dumping it into a skip. Please find several photographs showing the poor workmanship and quality of the product A&P Windows are prepared to fit. Painted cills that should be foiled covered. Trim hiding gaps where a frame should sit, resulting in the doors opening four inches less, resulting in items not able to get into the property properly. Furthermore, the cills should not be hanging over the edge of the brickwork by the length they are, but were necessary, due to the initial site survey to measure the job, for the manufacture, being wrong. Also the water damage that Mr Lamb has mysteriously not commented on. Official correspondence is underway due to having take the matter further. Mr Lamb cannot even have the courtesy to reply. As for disputing an official professional report from a rival company, the rival company used an independent opinion for the report. There are other issues on the report. One issue, is the daylight that can be seen through the doors and yet Mr Lamb does not address this, although a novice could work out the disgusting quality of the install and product. If it wasnt bad enough, water penetrating the ill fitting frame and ruining our plaster work.
