Ordered samples eventually after several issues with website. Samples never arrived. Emailed customer services over a week ago, never replied. Will not be purchasing from.

Never buy from this company...... my 1k click vinyl floor lasted 3 weeks and all the joints started to break off and lift.... ukfd have taken no responsibility for providing a poor product even though I have had ab independent flooring specialists look at it and confirm that it's shockingly poor. I will be seeking legal advice.

I ordered LVT flooring from UK Flooring Direct in June 2022. The flooring was fitted in line with the manufacturers instructions in July 22. I noticed that gaps had started to appear between the flooring planks and the planks had started to lift. As the planks are opening up and started to lift some of the planks have now become damaged. The product carries a lifetime residential warranty so I raised this with UK Flooring Direct on the 6th January. I have been asked for additional photographs and asked to provide additional information about the installation which I have done but to no avail. Whenever I chase resolution of this issue I am continually told there are no updates or I am asked for the same information that I have provided previously. I am now left with a floor that is not fit for purpose. This company have zero customer care skills and arent interested in aftercare which is clearly evident in their poor Google review rating. UPDATE 12/4/23 UKFD emailed me to ask the thickness of the underlay I had used. They also asked for the density of the underlay which I advised was not in the product literature provided with the underlay. I advised that the underlay was 2mm thick and suitable for installation with the likes of Karndean and Amtico. UKFD have now responded to suggest that the underlay thickness should be 3mm despite there being no reference to this in their installation instructions or data sheet. Their own underlay recommended for LVT flooring is 1mm thick. Come on UKFD you are making things up now. Take your money elsewhere folks dont be tempted by the empty guarantees and their cheap inferior products. You only have to read down the reviews.
