Very disappointing. Ordered the steak and kidney pie. Pastry was almost white, nothing like the picture in a prior review. I would guess oven chips. Shame, the Harvester we visited the day before and the day after was far superior.

Nice pub situated on busy A5 but with canal side views. Good range of draught beers, plus keg and cider. Beers a little more expensive than average at over 4 a pint. Food also served but not by us on this visit. Main disadvantage is that it isn't wheelchair friendly.

Friendly and polite staff. Excellent choice of ales and still ciders.
