Really enjoyed the beginners photography course. As a complete beginner (could just about turn the camera on!) I found Paul very patient, knowledgeable and happy to answer questions as we went along. He helped is set our cameras up, and explained the settings, then we spent time outside taking pictures using what he had taught us. We then went back to the studio to look at our pics and to use the PC to refine them. The courses are kept very small (should have been 5 of us but only 2 in the end !). The only negative for me was struggling to park near the studio but that's just a minor issue !

I had a great afternoon on the Burbage common workshop with Paul, I'd previously used online courses so had a base knowledge and this course was a great way to test my learning and get some feedback on my approach and style. This is a great workshop for beginners just looking to start and also for people who have some knowledge and want to practice with feedback and see how to take things further.

I have been on two workshops with Paul now, the first a half day group and the second a one to one full day. Taking up photography and understanding your camera can be daunting, it is so easy to use Auto all the time. But Paul teaches you in a relaxed and friendly manner how to get the best of your camera by understanding shutter speed, aperture and ISO. Paul is very easy to get on with and his knowledge of photography makes him a great teacher.

Attended a night photography course as a solo female. Paul made me feel very welcome, so I would definitely recommend any solo female to book with Paul. I was an absolute beginner, and Paul was very patient during the technical hour and during the outside practical session. I learnt more in those few hours than I ever did reading manuals and watching YouTube. The editing part of the course using Adobe lightroom was something I wasn't expecting but definitely appreciated. Although I was quite tired by this point, Paul still managed to inspire me. Thanks for the knowledge, and chat.

This was without question an amazing course, well presented, we were made to feel welcome, I just wanted to know how to set my camera up, but I got a whole lot more from it, Paul explained everything in a manner you understand, nothing is to much trouble for him, he makes time for everone, and if you don't get it (as I didn't) he just explains it again, I highly recommend him if you want to get more from your camera, I definitely booking another course. Thank you Paul
