Pianista Music Studio - Maria Torres

We are a couple in our 40's and 50's with one of us a real novice. Maria has made us feel so relaxed and got me playing to a level I couldn't have expected already. No boring practice just fun pieces which are so much fun and I'm learning theory at the same time without even trying! Highly, highly recommend

Maria is fantastic. She is extremely professional, patient and her teaching is thought through and tailored for each student. She has been teaching my daughter now for over a year and I was so impressed with the enjoyment and progress she was making I decided to take up lessons myself. I am surprised at how far I have come in such a short time and thoroughly enjoy both the private lessons and the practice in between as she ensures that I continue to learn at a pace which is right for me. I have loved watching my daughter in recitals organised by Maria, having the confidence to not only play the piano but also sing along in front of an audience. Maria gives each student the toolkit, including Apps to compete and follow progress as well as workshops to ensure that practice is both enjoyable and continuous.

Third time around for me for piano lessons, this time as a fully fledged adult - Maria is an amazing teacher and makes everything so much easier than the way I was taught 40 years ago - I'm beginning to read the music again which is amazing after giving up lessons and "playing by ear" as a teenager, I cannot believe the progress made in such a short time without lots of practice at home - Maria's patience, knowledge and understanding of learning pace is second to none and I highly recommend her for teaching adults and children
