I go to Empire every two weeks with a couple of guys from the day centre for adults with learning disabilities just next door. The guys love it and its one of the highlights of their week.
We have personal training from the amazing Christina, shes an excellent trainer and the guys always work really hard for her. Shes really good at planning sessions to cater to our needs and is really good at interacting with and getting the most out of our customers.
The gym itself is also brilliant , Ive never seen such a wide variety of equipment all in one place, theres literally something for everyone!
Empire is great for the casual exercise enthusiasts while also being perfect for the most hardcore fitness people. All the staff are incredibly knowledgeable and are always there to help tailor a workout to your needs and are great at giving encouragement when necessary.
The gym has several different floors with loads of equipment on each one, from cardio to weights and boxing, you name it, they have it!
They have also opened a little cafe so you can get food and drinks, they currently do jacket potatoes and salad boxes to order but I believe they will be expanding the menu soon, and plenty of energy drinks of course.
Their new section with loads of cool equipment is also fully wheelchair accessible and also has a wheelchair accessible toilet.
There are so many gyms in Hinckley, but none of them have anything on Empire, its by far the best, highly recommend.
