Usually a decent selection of affordable items at a quality level you'd expect at that price point. However, today when visiting my local store I noticed a sudden drop in options available in what I was looking to buy. But the worst part for me was that I'd bought a chilled drink from Wilko next door and the cashier wanted to scan that drink. So I told him I'd just bought it next door and he wanted to see a receipt. I showed him the receipt which he took ages scanning over. I felt accused of theft for a moment which has never happened to me before so wasn't very comfortable for me. I asked him where the same drinks were in the store, they were kept at ambient temperature so I asked if he could see the condensation on my chilled drink, and asked if that indicated anything to him about where it may have come from. He didn't answer. I'm not planning to go back there after this. It should have been really obvious that my drink did not originate in his store.

Another minimum wage retailer selling cheap tat. Like we don't have enough of those...

Great store. Not the biggest but still good choice. Very good value sweets, crisps food stuff etc, generally bit shorter date life stuff but not a problem if you eat it sooner. Great value batteries too!! Very friendly staff. Recommended for sure.
