Technology in Motion

After a lot of research online and a big delay because of the doctors' reassuring (and false) advice, we came to London from Greece for our baby's first cranial assessment with Jane Hunter. In the middle of the pandemic, on the 20th of August 2020, we came for just one day for our appointment, and it was the best decision we could have made for our baby boy. He had moderate/severe plagiocephaly and 13mm asymmetry on the back left side of his head, which was obvious from the 2nd month of his life. He also had torticollis, which was treated with physiotherapy. He started wearing his helmet at 6,5 months old and he has been wearing it for two months now. There is an obvious improvement and we are expecting more of it. He has taken the helmet really well and it hasn't held back his motor skills at all. Also as an architect, I feel the need to congratulate the design team and the whole TIM family, for this gorgeous and effective helmet. It is truly a masterpiece! (We had a helmet made here in Greece, but it was too ugly and bulky, not to mention that he cried every time he wore it). Thank you Technology In Motion from the bottom of my heart, you have eased all my anxieties and thanks to you my baby will say one day that his parents did the BEST that could be done in the year 2020.

Would not recommend - they as a clinic made assumptions about my son which were hurtful. The assumptions were only made after the consultation, not during, which makes me feel like it was political/company problem rather than a medical one. So so terrible. I ended up going with a competitor who made us feel welcome and put my son front and centre, as he should be. Would not recommend, not when there are alternative clinics.

We used Technology In Motion. My baby had a severely flat head. The team were fantastic especially the consultant in Sevenoaks! Has a more normal head shape now I would highly recommend to anybody who is worried about your babies head shape. The initial assessment is free, there is no pressure and you get so much support and information.
