Unfortunately an unhappy experience with this company. The measurements of the stairs were wrong!! Can you believe it!! This company didnt check the measurements of the actual stairs before sending it out to us. You may ask yourself why. Seemingly its on the client to check these measurements before arranging your joiner to come out and fit them! Its all there in their terms and conditions. So no refund on the extra expenses you need to pay your joiner to rectify the situation there and then. We needed the stairs doing that day. We had the plumber and plasterer waiting in the wings. What this company Two Twenty Stairs will do, is take the stairs back and rectify it for you. Makes sense doesnt it. Because we the client and the joiner have all the time in the world to sit around and wait for this company to fix their mistake. Unbelievable. We didnt have the luxury of waiting a few more weeks to wait for the stair to be rectified. Luckily we had a great joiner who fixed the problem for us but it obviously cost us because of the time it took the joiner to correct Two Twenty Stairs mistake. So my warning to you is. This company can actually make mistakes in the stair measurements. Seemingly the mistake was done by the machinery in the factory. Its on you to check everything when it arrives and not on Two Twenty. But hey if youre lucky, theyll give you a discount on your next stairs!!

Certainly not dry fitted in the workshop as you have to square the cuts up on the newel posts, everything far too tight, and whoever the receptionist has to keep asking the answers to your questions would be better of being on reception.

I've been working in construction for over 30 years and the stairs from Two Twenty were the worse workmanship I've ever seen. Nothing lined up and we had to adjust everything to fit the stairs. There were holes drilled wrong so put wood filling and dowels to hide it. All the rebates in treads were to tight for the rises. Again we had to adjust them. They say the stairs are pre assembled in factory before delivery which is absolutely rubbish. I called the rep and the manufacturer and none wanted to take responsibility. They offered to replace newel posts but we had already glued and we found the issues as we we went along assembling it, as anyone would. Very incompetent.
