Great value steaks in a wide variety, but sometimes hit-or-miss

Good location and great atmosphere. Menu is extensive and very beef based, which is great as I love my steaks. Unfortunately I love my steak very blue (or black & blue) and they just don't cater for me. I passed on the steak and went for a burger. This was an even bigger mistake as they only do this medium and to me it was well done and also very small. Hardly any fries and to be honest a very average experience overall. Others in the group found the steak very nicely cooked so if you like your steaks medium or well done, then maybe this is the place for you. There are better steak restaurants nearby if you like medium rare or less. A pity as any decent steak restaurant should be able to cater for blue as it's probably the easiest steak to cook.... obviously.....all you need is quality meat, expertise and the right instruments. All of these qualities seemed lacking here. Can't recommend this one unless you are willing to compromise on what you eat and go for the Asian salad or chicken. A missed opportunity.
