Sterling Chemist

I used this Pharmacy over covid and they were great. I dont know if its because they moved premises or now have different owners but the following has happened in the past year: 1. An older lady (she told me she was 92) came in to ask for some advice- the cashier rolled her eyes and then the pharmacist, a woman, was VERY rude to her and also rolled her eyes- the lady said "i am going to die soon anyway so noone cares right?". It broke my heart. She then bought something and said "oh thats a bit more expensive than i thought" and instead of telling her that she could prob get it cheaper in Boots or Superdrug, they shrugged and charged her anyway. Despicable behavior. 2. I went in to collect some antibiotics because i was very sick, and was told the pharmacist had gone on a break and would be back in 15 mins. 40 mins later, the same pharmacist who had rolled her eyes came in with 4 drinks from Starbucks and i was rudely told "we all need a break. We have to be here till 8pm". No compassion that i was visibly very ill. 3. On EVERY occasion i have collected a prescription in the past year, i was told that they were missing something and i would be contacted when they got stock. After waiting a month and a half the first time, i would go in weekly and was NEVER told that it had come in. 4. The final straw was when they tried to make me pay for the same prescription twice insisting that i had not paid when i had. Terrible. Avoid like the plague and go to Boots or Superdrug who actually help patients and give you your full prescription

Excellent service. I have been using this Chemist for years and would not go anywhere else. A huge thank you to Rachel and all the team for your warm and friendly manner and for your professional advice too...which has been needed many times.
