Such a beautiful shop and Will and Sofie were both so helpful. We purchased two custom pieces for our bathroom and they are gorgeous, Will is very talented! The whole process was seamless, they were really helpful and communication was great. We were kept updated throughout and couldn't be happier with the final products!

Will did an amazing job of giving new life to a boring oak sideboard painting it a fabulous dark grey which I am so happy with. He painted it on-site very efficiently. I also purchased a lovely mirror for our hallway. Thoroughly recommend a visit to this delightful shop with a host of treasures.

We had a large and heavy oak table that had not really aged well in terms of aesthetics despite remaining a solid and practical piece of furniture. We contemplated getting rid of it, but in this day and age that seemed wrong. Then someone mentioned Winter Bear. Will came to collect the table (in pieces) and he then transformed it. The legs were painted, the top sanded and oiled. It is now something of which we can once more be proud. The chairs will have a similar revamp early next year and we are planning other projects to revive other pieces. A great business with a professional and personal touch, we were delighted with the whole experience. Thank you, Will.

Winter Bear has been a great addition to Leopold Road. We bought a beautiful mirror which Will had restored and we liked it so much we asked him to source a chest of drawers and restore it using the same hombre technique - a perfect focal point for a spare bedroom. He has also restored a much loved old bistro stool for us and sourced and painted another large mirror. Suffice to say we're big fans! He's always happy to advise on styles and colours. The stock in the shop is inspired - very different from the homogeneity of the chains - definitely worth a browse!! And Sophie and Will are charming - what more could you ask for?
