This developer is close to 0 with help to their clients when it comes to closing a house deal. We reserved a plot in June this year and have been told the whole process of exchanging contracts will take no more than 6 weeks. Despite lost reservation forms which we had to resubmit at the beginning, we were happy to wait this time and secure a mortgage deal knowing what was ahead and stopped looking for other properties. We were rushed into paying nearly 10k for extras which have been refunded back to us a month after. Unnecessary stress. Over 4 months since our reservation and we still have not exchanged any contracts nor we know if we can move into this property. Bellway stopped giving us regular updates on the building process and completely ignored the fact that interest rates are going up and we would like to have all of this in place. Our move-in date is in a bit over one month and we still haven't got any confirmation that we will be able to move into a new home. Interest rates have gone up multiple times since we first reserved the property, but they don't seem to be concerned about this at all. We are put in a situation where if it ever comes to exchanging contracts, we will have to pay much more for the mortgage, we don't know if we should tell our landlord about moving out (which means we might need to pay an extra month here for nothing) and Bellway is refusing to help close off the deal. This is putting a lot of extra stress on us in such difficult times and we are not happy at all with the process. We were told that buying a property with Bellway will be stress-free and it is the complete opposite. Hopefully, this can be resolved in a reasonable manner as we did our part way before the deadlines and still getting screwed over. I will write an update here if anything changes. Moving into a new house in one month, yeeey so much fun.

Over internet found them to be reputed builder. Based on that went ahead with them for a new property in Rugby. However after 4 months of booking they started breaching promises. Requested them so many times to keep provision of light in garage which they promised earlier, but now they are saying they can't provide it due to some silly reasons. I have asked them for alternate options as I have invested lot of money on this, they simply denying. In the meantime within last few months property prices gone higher, so if I have to cancel this one and go for others, I have to purchase with higher prices. Really disappointed with their services. I'll wait to see if they resolve this issue, I'll post again based on that.
