Disgraceful and disrespectable service!! Just over two weeks ago I ordered a floral tribute for a funeral. Naomi took the order and payment having shown me what she would do including colours. Arranged to collect from florist yesterday between 11.00am and 11.30am on our way to the funeral in Gloucestershire at 1.30pm. Arrived at the shop at 11.30am. It was closed. You can imagine how I felt. Several phone calls to both mobiles eventually answered (now 12 midday) and said she'd be at the shop in 10 mins. Being naive and giving her the benefit of the doubt I thought she'd have the floral tribute with her. Surely she wouldnt let me down today of all days. By now 12.15pm. Arrived with bunches of flowers. I immediately asked her as she got out of the car if the flowers were ready. Her reply was "No but they soon will be." Obviously it had been forgotten about and she had been to buy bunches of cheap flowers from somewhere as there were no flowers visible in the shop. What she was going to do I could have done myself. A good florist takes time and care over their work but obviously this wasn't to be the case. Just throw it together and think I'd accept it. I insisted on a refund which she gave me without hesitation and said she could only apogise but no explanation as to why this happened so apology worthless and not accepted. You can imagine my frustration and dissappointment as we arrived at the funeral in Gloucestershire with minutes to spare. Instead of providing our local business with support, I gave the money to Alzheimers Charity which was the chosen charity for the deceased and I know they are a much more worthy recipient than Lunas Flowers. I am just grateful that I didn' t order several tributes but I know I will never set foot in this local business again after this devastating experience.
