Crikey o'riley, within 30secs of walking in and scanning the racks on the wall I had spent 2,500 , in my head! Completed my collection of Stray lps plus a nice copy of the first lp by Dust. Welcoming and supremely knowledgeable owners. Top top shop.

Finally made it to Rise Above and it exceeded expectations. A huge varied range of second hand stock across all genres alongside new Rise Above stock. So we got some unplanned and undiscovered goth, a luxurious Curved Air album in great nick with fold out sleeve and some planned Rise Above stuff. A happy mix of 'on the list' and unexpected. And that was without even looking at the dub and jazz! There was just too to much to get through, and so much good stuff in every section, we had to quit, vowing to return and conquer. Lee was really helpful, chatty and knowledgeable. And hearing Pil's 'metal box' blaring through the shop was a real treat. The whole experience was a pleasure. Just what record shopping should be! We'll be back!!
