Fight Focused Krav Maga

I was so excited to start doing this but Im very disappointed. They never answer the phone, return calls, reply to emails or tell you when a class is cancelled and Im assuming I wont get my Money back either. Was really looking forward to taking this up and even suggested some friends to come along, very sad. Will have to look for somewhere else.

Starting Krav Maga training with John a few years ago is one of the best decisions I ever made! This class teaches practical and realistic self defense skills in a supportive and enjoyable atmosphere. It is highly physical so gets you fit as well as mentally and physically prepared to deal with situations that you could encounter in the world. The training is professional, intense, relevant and incredibly fun to be a part of. I can't recommend John's classes highly enough!!

About 4 years ago I signed up for a free Krav Maga trial with John. In an hour I learned more about self defence than I had in my whole life. This was right up my street! I signed up that night. Since then Ive learned to challenge myself, to commit, Ive shed weight and am mentally and physically stronger than Ive ever been. Ive made some great friends and have been met with nothing but positivity, humour and honest, exceptional teaching. If you want quick, easy to learn, instinctual solutions to a range of real life scenarios that we all hope we never find ourselves in, give this a go.

I've been coming to train here for over 8 years, which for someone like me (with a very low attention span) speaks volumes! It was brilliant back when classes were held in various local sports centres - now there's a dedicated training space even more so. John is a great instructor, and whilst krav maga itself is very 'full-on' he has a keen eye to make sure that injury or any heavy-handedness is prevented. The class attracts a great bunch too! Whilst some of the regulars may look like they've jumped straight out of an octagon they are great fun and cause no need to feel intimidated. Highly recommended - if you're thinking of trying it for the first time I believe the first lesson is free too.
