Samuel Rhodes Secondary School

This school never helped me at all, there isnt no future. I never had the opportunity to do GCSEs. They treat you like kids example the toilets were locked then they expect us to act like adult. I got told that I will get in trouble just for not going to a school trip in which you had to stay for a week. A limited curriculum which meant u cant progress. A lot of students I know said they wanted to leave this school. Do not send your child here. very very horrible school

There is so much to say about this place. They never helped me at all. I dont have decent qualifications at all to get me where I want to be, its all because of this school, especially the teachers, I wanted to learn and leave with good qualifications unfortunately that never happened and I was told when I was in year 11 that even I did my GCSE English, I wouldnt pass and that I will fail. Currently I am working but thats not what I wanted at all. I wanted to follow my dreams. This school was meant to help me but they failed badly. There is unfair treatment all the time!! and special treatment as well. My biggest regret was coming to this school, they failed me, this was meant to be the place where I learn and achieve but that never happened. I got assaulted when I was in year 11, the teachers did nothing about it, they only took the student break away, he said sorry and that was it. I also phoned the police several times. What did the school do? Apparently they are dealing with it? Now I have to start everything from the beginning. How is that even fair?? School failed me badly. I can go on and on about this place, horrible school.

My son attended Samuel Rhodes Secondary for 4 years and learnt absolutely nothing ! I have nothing good to say about this school, and as a parent I would not recommend this school. The teaching is very poor and the teachers obviously do not care. All they did was call me every single everyday to report that my son did this, my son did that.....everyday complaints from the teacher. If you want your child to have a good education, then this school isn't for you.
