I've had the fish tacos from here before which were amazing when I had them. But today I ordered 2 small haddocks with chips and I'm thoroughly disappointed. The food was soggy as hell, some of the chips were undercooked with parts of it tasting practically raw. But the worst thing for me is that they didn't bother to remove the scales from my fish properly!! I've got fish scales still stuck down my bloody throat!! I know Fridays can be busy for some businesses but they let that affect the quality of their food too much.

The chips here are amazing, the nicest chips I've had in a very long time...they look hand cut, cooked in fresh oil, delicious. I was a little disappointed by the vegan tofu'ish - it looked great and the batter was lovely, however the tofu inside was not seasoned...it felt and tasted rather like a block of bland tofu - I struggled to finish it. The seaweed on top was a nice touch but did not add much flavour. If more could be done to improve the texture (to make it flaky) and flavour (perhaps marinate it) of the tofu'ish this could be an amazing dish!

The chips here are sooooo delicious. Probably the best Ive had in London. I tried the chicken burger for the first time and it was better than expected, a really juicy and tasty fillet. I'll definitely order it again. The battered sausage is always tasty, crispy batter. No other chip shop has ever provided this quality. My favourite place for chips. I'm keen to try other things from the menu now that i know how good the chicken burger is.
